    1. Don t let the three stars fool you this is a really useful statistics book. However, for me, I picked it up at the wrong point in my learning This is one of those books you read at the start of your understanding or when you want a refresher course If you re someone who is already well informed, this feels as though it doesn t really cover much.A good place to start, though.

    2. Brilliant introduction to Statistics I am NOT one to wax lyrical over any book of this sort but starting on a heavily stats based MSc after a loooong delay since doing anything similar, I desperately needed some support This is a great recommendation by my course, clear and precise with excellent definitions, wide ranging examples and challenging but useful exercises Whatever you re using statistics for, if you re lacking in confidence then this is the book for you.

    3. As an undergraduate of BS Psychology, this book helped me a lot on our Psychological Statistics class I didn t cover much all of the possible statistical techniques but it s a good book for starters, I ve learned a lot regarding the fundamental principles from Descriptive Statistics and Inferential Statistics.
