The third book, Quiet of the Beckett Series, is baffling to me I cannot truly relate the title to the story plot It could refer to a small portion of the story but not to the main content If you missed reading Book 1 of the series, you have missed the main foundation of the characters Although, this book briefly describes the other characters and situations, the reader will not get the full impact of the story unless the other previous books are read Quiet centers on Christine and her law practi [...]


    2. Quiet I m really enjoying this series.It s jam packed with adventure and suspense I love the Beckett family and would recommend this series.

I have read the first two books of this series, and each story keeps getting better and better I was totally hooked on this story and couldn t stop reading I love a good mystery in a romance, and this story had a GREAT mystery I was on the edge of my seat, turning pages madly as I tried to discover who the villain was I pride myself of guessing who the bad guy is in the story, my Ms Martinez had me fooled Kudos I HIGHLY recommend this story those who love to read a great mystery

Mysterious AND Exciting The story centers on the conflicting emotions of an attorney handling a high profile murder case and the detective assigned to solve the origin of the threatening notes she s been receiving Two people who seem to dislike each other immensely, but was brought together by grim circumstances, and was forced to cooperate so they can solve a woman s murder Mary Martinez has a lovely way of describing and developing her characters I fell in love with the Beckett and Solomon fam [...]

This is the third book in the Beckett series but this reviewers introduction to the clan I read it could be a stand alone and I m thrilled to say IT IS I had a good sense of who these characters are, in relation to the others and to the plot The one and only question I had near the beginning was answered a few pages later The sub plots and red herrings flowed seamlessly into the main plot, moving the story along quite nicely The characters were interesting as well This was a wonderful story High [...]


    7. A book about a woman and a murder mystery A normal murder mystery with a love interest throw in I d read of the series if the books were free, but I doubt I d buy another one in the series.
